Schedule of regular public meeting of the Union County Utilities Authority for the Period of March 2025 through the authority’s reorganization meeting in February 2026

In accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act (N.J.S.A. 10:4-1 et seq.), the following schedule of Regular Public Meetings of the Union County Utilities Authority was approved at the annual reorganization meeting of the Authority on Wednesday February 19, 2025. The Authority gives public notice that it may act as a body, by taking official action, at any of the following meetings.

  • May 16, 2025
  • June 18, 2025 (in person)
  • July 16, 2025
  • August 20, 2025
  • September 17, 2025
  • October 15, 2025
  • November 12, 2025 (2nd Wednesday)
  • December 17, 2025 (in person)
    • Annual Public Meeting at 5:00 p.m.
    • Regular Monthly Meeting at 5:30p.m.
  • January 21, 2026
  • February 18, 2026
    • Annual Reorganization Meeting

All Regular Public Meetings of the Authority will begin at 5:30 p.m. and shall be held via Zoom’s virtual meeting online platform administered by way of the Authority’s administrative offices located at 1499 Routes 1 and 9 North, Rahway, New Jersey except  as otherwise noted above.  The June 18 2025 and December 17, 2025 meetings, which will be held in-person in the Authority’s conference room at 1499 Routes 1 and 9, North, Rahway, NJ 07065, the  UCUA Board of Commissioners meetings will be open to the public by electronic means, and as such, will be conducted through a videoconference via ZOOM. All members of the public may view such meetings by clicking the meeting link on the Authority website:  www.ucua.org

Portions of all meetings may be held in executive session to the extent allowed by law.

Any member of the public wishing to participate in the videoconference meeting may do so by downloading ZOOM to their individual electronic device and must email the Clerk of the Authority at info@ucua.org to be added to the list of public speakers.   All requests must be submitted and received by the Clerk of the Authority no later than 3:00 pm of the corresponding meeting date.

Members of the public who prefer not to, or do not have the means to, participate in the videoconference, may participate in the Authority meetings by submitting written comments relevant to resolutions being offered for adoption and/or on any Authority issue that a member of the public feels may be of concern to the residents of the County.  Written comments may be sent to the Clerk of the Authority either via email to info@ucua.org, or via regular mail to: Union County Utilities Authority, Attn: Clerk, 1499 Routes 1 and 9 North, Rahway, New Jersey 07065.

All written comments must be submitted and received by the Clerk of the Authority by no later than 3 PM of the corresponding Regular Meeting date and, must include the public member’s full name and town of residence for the record.

All relevant written comments received by the Clerk by 3:00 PM of the meeting date will be read into the record during each Regular Meeting’s Public Comment Portion, and will be addressed accordingly by the Board.
